How long, start to finish, does a twister quilt take?

The black background kind of gives it an Amish vibe, doesn't it? It's beautiful!

Twister is a wonderful pattern. I am on my 4th one. The first one was
childrens fabric. I used big prints and when cut up they lost their look.
Contrast.contrast- light/ dark is the key to really great results. Think small
    prints....Happy twisting...sewbeeit2

your use of color is fantastic! The black just sets it off nicely. I've seen several twister quilts recently & guess I'm going to have to try one. On the "want to" list.

When I looke at the instructions included with the ruler, it looked to me like the was almost as much waste as what you used! What do you do with the fabric that is I between the pieces you use?

Real pretty... this is the third quilt I have seen using this tool (I am new to quilting) and I am thinking I may have to buy the tool and give it a try. Inspiring for sure!

Great job! Love the pattern and the colors. What color was your backing? What color thread did you use on the black portion? I have a quilt top passed down to me that has black sashing. Thanks for posting your picture.
