Your tote bags came out cute. I learned about this from this board also. I just sent them two totes, and just got my second kit in the mail yesterday. They are easy, quick, fun & provide something for cancer patients to do during their stays in the hospital. They also accept donations of new coloring books, crayons, etc. Check their web site if interested. According to their brochure, all staff members are volunteers, so no funds go to salaries.

Great job on the bags. I think it is a great cause also, and thank you to everyone that is helping out. They also like to get colorful pillowcases.

I went shopping yesterday for stuff to fill the bags with. Came home with coloring books, workbooks, crayons, paints, colored pencils, toys, puzzles and little games. So much fun! I have two crib quilts to finish for them, and will try to get some pillowcases made too. Then I'll send one BIG box.

I am a member of a small (6)group of women who meet twice a month to sew for charity, we just completed six and are in varying stages of completing 18 more. Will have to explore the site more to find out about pillowcases and the other goodies, thanks for the additional information
