    Thanks for the nice comments.

    the first is a variation of the Jewel Box pattern, the second is a variation of the Stained Glass pattern. I found pictures I liked online and went from there. I didn't use any special rulers for these ( though I do love specialty rulers).

    They are both beautiful quilts. The second one reminds me of the stained glass windows in my uncles church from when I was a kid.

    While they're both beautiful, I really like the 2nd, that looks so much like a stained glass window.
