    Two Charity Baby Quilts

I was short one block for the first quilt and needed something to put in the center. My ten-year-old grandson assured me that it needed dinosaur fabric. LOL! I'm not sure I like the dinosaur fabric, but I'm pleased with how the quilting turned out.

The second quilt has a patriotic theme using scraps. I really like the backing fabric on this one.

Our guild needs to come up with 130 charity baby quilts by June. We're almost there!

Good luck to your & your guild in meeting your goals. I especially like the red, white & blue quilt. I hope the nurses in the maternity ward save this one to give to a baby born on July 4.

Your grandson was right! The dinosaurs sure caught my attention.

    Both quilts are great.
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.

So happy to see the dinosaurs on your quilt. Someone gave me dinosaur yardage and I have been trying to figure out how to make a children's quilt with he material. Looks great on your quilt and gave me some ideas. Thank you.

Great quilts for your guild project. That is quite a big undertaking for your group. I do like the dinosaur fabric in the first one. It looks so nice with the colors of the other blocks.

Both of your quilts look really good. I think the one square of dinosaur fabric gives just the pop that tops this quilt off. I am really impressed with the quilting pattern for your patriotic quilt. I love circles, and I am new to FMQ; so this may be something I can try. Someone will really appreciate your efforts.

    Thank you!

I used a walking foot to do the circle quilting on the patriotic quilt. It's not free-motion quilting.
