I felt like a kid in a candy store. Ok, so I went a little over board, but I had fun. I got some material to go with others I already had and yes even found the one I have been looking for. I can now complete my mother-in-laws quilt. I even got a great edging to finish it off. Thank s Karla for turning me on to theis store.
Below are pics of the material from our adventure today and some are with the mmatching material I bought them to go with.

WOW Girl!!! You did some serious shopping!!! And MORE, even after I had to go!  That is so totally awesome! I can't believe how well you matched your African fabric, especially not even having it with you! What a wonderful grouping of fabrics to go with it. Now, if we can just get these other gals and gents to come up with a suitable pattern for you.. at least I did my part, ha ha.
Anyone else wanna make a road trip up here with Kimberly next time? I know where you can get some to die for fabrics, and right now a bunch of them are only $4 a yard, even some batiks! Can't be that, can ya? We've got lots of great places to eat up here, too. :P Come and get it.

Nuts and Bolts Needleworks is in the beautiful mountains of Woodland Park, only 20 miles from Colorado Springs - straight up Hwy 24.
They opened the store after the local Ben Franklin went out of business in Aug 2008. They're going strong, have lots of fabrics, patterns, tools, sewing machines, yarns, books, magazines, classes - and fabulous employees! They all worked in the Ben Franklin fabric department for years and years. Very seasoned and very knowledgeable.
They have an online newsletter, too. Call them at 719-687-2272 to sign up, to get hours of operation, class info, etc. (No affiliation, just a good customer and one who has known these dear folks for years)
