Realy, I do more than lurk this site, o-o-o and ahh at your work and plan quilts in my head. Here are my first two postings of finished quilts. The baby quilt was given as a gift this past Sunday and the larger quilt is a VERY late wedding gift that will be given in July.

What great quilts. I love the baby quilt. What great colors. Your black, white and red quilt wowed me. I love that color combo and the pattern looks great. Wonderful job on both and thanks for sharing.

The wedding quilt was definitely worth waiting for. I'm sure the lucky couple will be thrilled. The baby quilt looks great too.

They are both beautiful. I like the way the green border creates that secondary pattern with the other green. And that black white and red is just stunning

Both really nice quilts. The black and white almost gives a shadow-box effect with the shading. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

The colors were at the request of the mother of this soon to arrive little one. She is doing a Curious George themed nursery and the colors are softer versions of the balloons George carries.

The pattern was a variation of one I had seen on the board. I wanted to give it a try. When it was finished the total look of the quilt was much different than what I expected. I also did a lot of machine quilting on it which is not my style but I like the results. The back is a white on white print but the quilting made beautiful medallions. The photo of the back just did not show the quilting well so I did not post it.

Thanks for the positive comments. When we work alone in our little sewing rooms, we do not get much feed back. I think that is part of the joy and benefits of the board. We can support one another with those warm fuzzies and suggestions.... when they are asked for.

You must show us more of your work!!
You really are a quilt artist....your fabric selections add so much interest and dimension to these two quilts. It makes the eye linger and explore, just what we all hope our quilts provoke in the viewer.
    Very well done!
