I love both of these quilts. The darker quilt is a for the grandson of one of my first cousins. His momma helped me move this past summer and it's a "thank you for letting me borrow your mommy." The gray and pink one is for my newest granddaughter that was born the 1st. The colors on the pink one just don't want to photograph true. The pinwheels are peach, yellow, pink and lavander.

Love your avatar! I have looked at the "fancy" scissors so many times, but never find any really good prices around here. Love yours! Also love the quilts, they should last a long time. You are so thoughtful to do these.

Wow! I love both quilts. The first quilt grabs my attention. The excellence is remarkable. Your fabrics are superior. All the fabrics seem to be bright and bold, yet not one takes away from the other. They blend so well. Your vision of using the dotted fabric exemplifies your skills in fabric selection. I see the perfection in your work. I expect this quilt could stand up to any judge's score sheet! I think this is the first windmill that has taken my breath away. It is totally awesome. I have enjoyed seeing it. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I love them both, but especially the pastel. I'm old fashion, I like pastels for babies! LOL

Beautiful job. I love pinwheels. I made a quilt with pinwheels for my granddaughter several years ago for her twin bed and she still drags it around. I was surprised that she likes it so much since it's not covered in princesses, but she does. Your quilts will be loved as much and look like they are made well enough that they'll hold up to the loving.
