Here are two other block patterns from quilts our historical society owns for which I'd like names. Maybe these are easier!

I found a block called Rambler, Crimson Rambler and Spring Beauty with 3 flying geese in each spoke in BlockBase. Also had a square in a square in the center. Very similar to your second block.

In BlockBase this is called Mosaic 1 or Mosaic 3

Number one almost looks like a simplified/modified Churndash. Great quilts by the way, I always love checking out vintage quilts.

The second one is a wild goose chase. The first one looks familiar ... I keep thinking a japanese lantern. Not sure.
