Default Two new quilts for boys

I made one like the top one for a little girl earlier in the week, and this one is for a boy. I like the idea of the border matching the lattice, instead of the way I did the other one.

I found this panel for $1.50 and couldn't resist the price. Had to find something in the stash that sort of matched, didn't want to have to buy fabric for it. The side squares of the tan were put there because I didn't have enough of the forest green! This border fabric looks black but isn't, just a very dark forest green.

Good looking quilts. I would not have even tried to resist those ducks.

I especially like the panel and have a son who would, as well.
