Default Two small Christmas Toppers

First topper - Somehow I was gifted a stack of 2.5" Christmas Squares, They were lime green, pink, gray ....well you get the idea. I really didn't like them but started using them as leaders and enders. Well - just put them together and they were kind of cute so this is what I came up with! Because there were some snowflakes in the fabrics I quilted it with snowfalkes!!

Second Topper - A derivation of MH Deisgn's Santa in the Pines. Just a lot of fun to do . I actually made two of these - one for my daughter and the other for my daughter in law! Just a simple stitch in the ditch on thiese.

Both cute as can be!! Is there a pattern for the second one? I love the simplicity and whimsy of it.

Thanks SusieQOH - The original design is - MH Design,s "Santa in the Pines"

https://www.quilterswarehouse.com/sa...pines-pattern/

I just used two Santas and four trees to do this little runner. They are paper pieced and each Tree/Santa finished up at 2"x4" so it was about 12" wide and maybe 20" long?? (I can not measure them as they are already wrapped - sorry). I made one for me last Christmas and here is the QB post
Santa in the pines
- that one is octagonal - 4 Santas and 8 trees.

Betty, Thank you for the link of the table runner. It is so cute, and the little quilt is great.

Both toppers are so cute! I love the swirls and snowflake quilting on the first one.
