I decided to throw caution to the wind and use some "different fabrics" in fast and different ways. DH doesn't like black in quilts so he doesn't like the "Bricks and Stepping Stones" (Quiltville). When I started the "Turning Twenty" throw he actually laughed at the wild prints. Now he thinks our 20 something daughter would really like it for her birthday. Maybe he just wants to be sure it doesn't end up in the living room. LOL!

Now tell the truth - did you already have them cut out? Fabulous work, and so fast.

Thanks everyone. The Turning twenty quilt took less than 3 hours total.
I started cutting the Bricks and Stepping stones on Thursday evening.
Both are really fast and easy. Now if I just had another long weekend to get them quilted......

I love them both. I have to tell you, I LOVE the black in the first quilt top. What a great accent to it. Thumbs up on them.
