Beautiful, the both of them. I would be hard pressed to have to pick a favorite.

I agree! I love the one with black. Have only seen one with white, and your black one is much more beautiful! Nice contrast with the scrappy colors.

You're right... the black really makes those scraps snap to attention! I love scrappies & these are fabulous! Your kids sure are lucky to have such a talented & generous mom!

Oh !! the first quilt makes my heart sing ! could you share the name of the pattern or how you pieced it ? Did you
make all the "spiders" and then set triangles to join them? I just want to make one--now !
It's the happiest quilt I have seen in a long time.

well, duh ! I should have read more carefully. am going to find that book right away. I always forget to read all
the replies before I open my mouth.

They are both pretty, but I like the darker one better, it really sets off the spider webs.
