    I agree. Everything that we piece does NOT come out the way we envision, but I am sure this little boy is going to enjoy this quilt keeping him snugly warm at night.

    Did you show that quilt top before you added the borders? (at least I think I remember having seen something like this recently here on the board). Just wanted to say that the border you chose in the end, with that small black line and the black binding IMO really fits it very well!

    yes I did.. had trouble trying to find the right stripe for the border so I asking for opinions Thanks everyone!
