Default UFO's

These are 2 quilt tops I have completed. I would like suggestions on bindings and quilting. The first one is a strip quilt that I am trying for the 1st time. Color is not good on picture. (Pinks & Grays). The second is triangles I tried for the first time. Some of the triangles are wonky. I finally figured out how to do them correctly so the points don't disappear into the seams. I am still a rookie who is learning as I go with lots of mistakes along the way. The seam ripper is my best friend. Thanks for suggestions and thanks for looking.

I look at the quilt first and then decided if I want the binding to show up as an accent or if I want it to blend in the background. With your first quilt, if you want it to be subtle, then go with a gray or if you want it to be seen, go with a pink. For the second, you might look for a stripe that has the colors in the triangles.

very nice
My first thought for your strip quilt is to use white... I know. I like it as it is but we need some sort of binding.

For your second quilt I would add a small border, may be 1 1/2 " or 2" then bind it with one of the colors you used in the quilt.

As far as quilting is concerned, are you handquilting or machine quilting?

On both, I would make a long strip of all the prints/colors in each top, and use that as a binding.... to accent the
fabrics you used.

I love the effect of striped fabric for binding. For the first one, I would choose a pink or grey stripe, and for the second, a black and white would be stunning, such as:

I collect black and white stripe fabrics and keep it for binding. I get a lot of comments about it.

Both are lovely! First one, perhaps quilt in an all over design, and bind with grey. Second one, maybe add a small border, and bind in a stripe or one of the colors in the triangles~~

I agree with ManicQuilter2, and a softer gray or pink (or combination) would be pretty. Also agree helou that a small white border would be nice with one of the colors as binding.

Nice job on both!
