    Once washed & ironed this piece didn't look as bad as I originally thought...darn!

    I think you oughta go with your original thought. I don't know how bad it could have been before washing and ironing, but that should qualify as truly ugly! :lol:

    I can't stand that print. I think it is called paisley. I won't tell you what it reminds me of. To me the colors do not compliment each other. Reminds me of the 70's. The camera didn't get the colors exactly right but it is close. I do hope somebody else gets to own it.

    Chasing Hawks...yours does not qualify!! I love it! If I saw it in a shop...I would definitely be buying some.

    Twisted Quilter's scrap might not be a beauty in scrap form. But if someone had made a quilt that looked like that, nicely pieced, very "art-y", with a dramatic black border, it would probably win a prize at a quilt show.

    CJOMOMMA submitted a paisley. Being a lover of paisley fabrics I really like that one.

    Chasing Hawk shows what looks like a Laurel Burch fabric or a LB wannabe. I like that one too.

    I think I should avoid reading this thread LOL.
