    Default Ultimate Travel Bag 2.0

I went on a bus trip to 5 quilt shops in Iowa and Illinois. I saw this bag made and on display. They were out of the kit, so I bought the pattern. I used home dec fabrics and I quilted them with Soft N Stable. It was a well written pattern from byAnnie.com. I am happy with how well it turned out.

I hope it is OK to post it here since I did actually quilt the fabric before I cut out the pieces for the bag.

Sounds like a fun adventure going to 5 quilt shops on a bus trip! Your ultimate travel bag turned out lovely.
One tip for you is to spray your bag/straps with fabric protector (Scotch Guard for fabric is one brand.) so the lighter fabrics won't stain. Enjoy your bag and thank you for showing us!

Your bag looks great. There are a lot of steps in making bags, so congratulations to you for finishing!

Love your bag. And the compass centered on the handle!

Love your bag! I used to make bags all the time but not so much anymore. I like your fabric you used too. You’ve done a great job.
