There are 21 pictures in all. Hope you see something you enjoy. There were more quilts, but I wasn't thinking of you people when I was shooting. Sorry about that!

I too simply adore the scared cat one titiled "Catastrophe"! But there were all kinds of beautiful quilts in that show. Is this the height of quilt show season? I know I posted the Bennington Quiltfest and it seems there are a lot more quilt show pictures posted right now? Not that I'm complaining mind you. The one with close up quilting pictured I couldn't tell if that was machine or hand? I am always fascinated and want to scrutinize the quilting shots for inspiration and drool factor. When it comes to detailed quilting like that, I have an equal appreciation for both.

These are just beautiful....love that "catastrophe" and the "Dreaming of Islands" the Family Tree is a beauty as well....Would hate to have to only pick one as a winner. Thanks for thinking of us.

I'm glad you all like the quilts.
The close-up one is machine quilted. I had taken another close-up, where the design was different, but it came out blurry so I didn't post it.
I also should have taken notes and labeled each one. Live and learn.

Thanks for the pics. Now I'm really excited for this weekend. We're going to Chautauqua on Saturday. There are going to be 800 quilts and 70 vendors. I've never been to a large show before so can't wait.

Ahaha! Love Catastrophe! The others are pretty, too- thanks for posting!!

Someone should make a book of "Quilts with a Sense of Humor"! That cat would fit right in there. It looks like my cat trying to climb my design wall. (Well, except for the color of the cat.)

What a neat idea with the furry tailed cat. How did you make the scratches from the claws. Love the look on it's face!
