I would buy that in a heartbeat. I know that I don't have the patience to make one of my own. I sure hope you get it.

I am afraid some of my quilts may end up in a thrift store. I won't worry nothing I can do to stop it.

Well....it turns out the white fabric isn’t cotton, I think some of the flowers are and some aren’t. I felt a little misled as the seller herself was a quilter so likely knew that it not being 100% cotton is significant. I bought it anyway, as I like it and want to repair it. In a weird sort of way there is less pressure for me to repair it “correctly” now. I feel much more comfortable going after it with my beginner skill set.

Pamela, it is very pretty anyhow. Take it and fix it and you will be ahead of whoever dumped it. You have pleased someone somewhere.

I went to one of the antique stores here and quilts were there for $12.00. You could tell they were old and hand made

It’s still a wonderful top and I’m sure you will put your magic touch to it...it’s still a great find.

when we used to deal in antique quilts, we saw a lot of unfinished GFG's. It seems sewing the little hexes together is fun, but deciding when to stop and how to finish it causes some people to give up.
