Our hospital decided to hold a silent auction to benefit the United Way campaign. Of course I decided to make a quilt. I then forgot all about it until about two weeks befor the event. When reminded I panicked! I then remembered I had a pattern that boasted - "Take 5 minutes, choose 5 Fabrics and in 5 Hours - you've made this fantastic quilt" (by Teacher's Pet). It actually took me an hour to pick the fabric. I decided on black, white and red, leaves - non gender specific .... and 8 hours to make the quilt. And thank goodness my wonderful quilter, Michelle Pettorini, put it on her machine immediately! I was delighted when she quilted it with leaves!
