Great job. If you lined it with fabric and added a side handle it would make a great wristlet which everyone seems to be selling now:)

sewnsewer2 - I hadn't heard of iron on vinyl either until AtHomeSewing told me about it. It worked great.

Ladybug - You are right, it would. Hmmm.....
Actuallly I did line it, just "vinylized" (just made the word up) the lining .
But if I left the vinyl off, it would be a nice wristlet. Good idea.

Thanks, got my new Bernina in June and after seeing some of the designs that the embroidery module could do in my owners manual, I went back and got a real great price on one. I am slowly learning the intricacies of the machine embroidery world :-) Especially after I make a dumb mistake!

Nursie,

would you mind listing the site to the pattern?

Not at all!

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=176509.0

I adapted it so I could use the panel with the frog, but otherwise stuck with the pattern.

sewnsewer2 posted pics of the one she made from this pattern in July with the URL for the pattern, so I have her to thank for finding the pattern for this great bag.

Enjoy!

It looks great!

I have a cosmetic bag that I've been using for nearly 15 years, and it's really starting to show its age. I'm really glad you posted this to give me some ideas of how I could make myself a replacement bag!
