I have used a very fine vilene non iron interfacing as a foundation and traced the pattern on, like paper piecing, the job was made quicker by a lovely xmas pressie from my son and girlfriend: A light box woo hoo!! I just draw out about six at a time, then sew them up, not so boring AND better than using paper as you don't have to rip it all out

Can you point us to the place where you got the center medallion pattern. I think the medallion makes the quilt stunning!

Thanks

Sheila

I adapted a design that is in a magazine called 'Applique Quilts, No 22. it's really old 2005!! But if you do a search on here I know there are several links to good Baltimore designs for free!!

If you look at my design, it is really rather simple, made up of straight pieces for the stems, simple leaf shape, and circles, the 'flowers' are a kidney shape petal overlapping each other, so feel free to copy this design if you want

Quite clever. I am at a stand still at the moment. Want to use all my scraps up but not sure how or what to do.
