This is so lovely and isn't it wonderful to see the result of your prayers? May the Lord bless you.

That is so beautiful - love how you did the backing. This will surely be treasured.

It is just beautiful. Where did you get your centre squares of the Lords Prayer & Amazing Grace.

for those who wish to know there is no real pattern for this quilt. I just made it up with some blocks that I found. the center block on the front is called sea of crisis and the ones around it are called seaside star. they are from the Jinney Beyer Studio. the sea of crisis I added triangles to the corners to help it fit in better. the back fabric I got from Hobby Lobby. the crosses are just some cross fabric that goes with the lords prayer and amazing grace panels. thank you all for your comments.
My sister in laws step-father has hung the quilt over his bed. I hope that one day he will feel comfortable enough to use it. When I gave it to him I told him that it is for wrapping up in when you are feeling sad and need a hug or need some comfort. I hope that one day he will be comfortable with using it more than just a wall hanging. which is just fine also if it only hangs on the wall. it is his to do with as he wishes.
