Your first one is absolutely beautiful. The circles are very intriguing - what is the diameter? These six circles are really interesting if you decide to use any of the ideas above. Yellow or Black circles - that would be fun to see on a bright red or black background.

They are 12 in across. Still tossing ideas for them around in my head.

They're both awesome! I can see why making your center medallion may have gotten boring, but the results are far from boring. Thanks for sharing.

I love them! On your circles; I saw a quilt (maybe on the board?) that embroidered centers in a Dresden and it looked great. A fussy-cut print center might work too.
