Thread: urban cabin-wedding present

    This a wedding present for a friend of my son. Their color choices were blue and green. It a large throw size. I had it quilted at the local quilt store. The fun thing I figured out was how to do a label with my machine!!

    This is a pattern by Atkinson Designs called Urban Cabin. I thought it was on the modern side for this young couple.

    Lovely and unique. Did you make your label separate from the quilt and then sew/glue it on or did you sew the letters directly onto the quilt? I am needing ideas for a label. Thanks

    I put the label on a piece of fabric the same as the binding and then just sewed in with the binding, so it is slightly bumped up from the binding by about an inch. So it's noticeable but not over powering, if that makes sense.
