I agree 110%. I want to see them used and that's why I too keep a bottle of Shout on hand.

Don't worry about spills or stains cause they wash up beautifully. If something gets spilled that might stain, I just spray with spray and wash and throw it in machine. They look good as new when washed. If you make them, use them. I tell everyone I make quilts, etc for that they were made to use and not be afraid of washing them regularly.

What a great idea! The look lovely. Which one is Martha? Or did you not include the birthday girl?

I have used my quilts as tablecloths but I cover them with a piece of clear plastic before setting the table. That way I don't have to worry about spills. Your yard looks lovely and the tables are beautiful, I know your friend had a great time.

I would have to use clear plastic, too. I would not want BarBQ sauce on my quilts. Yours look wonderful!

Just use a clear plastic sheet over them. My dining room table looks so pretty with a solid red and white one - otherwise stored away.

The quilts look great but I'd never be able to let people eat barbecue on my white quilts! Or any color... Not without clear vinyl over them.
