    Lovely, and great idea to rent a machine. In Maui in January I shipped fabric home. The fabric store was my first stop from the airport!
    Normally I love purple and blue colors the best but your second pic is changing my mind. Lovely work.

    I use the Easy Dresden template and then square up the background fabric. Then I cut the four corners using a 45 degree angle on my ruler to make the hexagon.
