Thread: Valentine wallhanging

    I made this wallhanging from a pattern created by Jan Spolar for the "Keep the Truth Growing" for the Janome website. it will be raffled at a
    Valentine Tea in 2012.

    Very pretty. Was it difficult? I have done very, very little applique, but I am about to try. All hints for a good finished product will be appreciated.

    The directions were quite good. You had to blow up the pattern first &
    make one reverse copy. It was not what I would call difficult, just took
    time. I did it in iron-on applique & then top stitched it with decorative
    stitches. This is the second time I made this pattern because I thought
    it was beautiful the first time.

    Very pretty, I love the effect that the white and red polka dot gives in the background, it looks like a stream of little red bubbles.

    Wow, it is beautiful. You seem to be an expert at applique. It may have taken time, but look at the beautiful results. Some blessed person is going to be overjoyed to win the raffle. Can I buy a ticket? LOL
