    Vanilla Cake

The pattern is Vanilla Bloom, but there are a few different ways to make it and I made mine the Vanilla Cake way. The pattern calls for a layer cake, I used Fig Trees Butterscotch line, So I have another UFO finished and binded for my New Year's Resolution. I free handed everything and used Hobbs 100% cotton for batting. I also found a piece I put in wrong when I had three rows already quilted and I couldn't rip out, I sure wish I would of posted quilt on board before I quilted it, I'm sure someone would have seen and pointed it out. So it is in there now and I will just have to find away to cover mistake. Thanks for looking.

If there is a piece put in wrong I can't see it. It gives the quilt character. And the whole quilt is beautirul.

That is spectacular--such soft and luscious colors. And the quilting, superb.

It's a beautiful quilt and quilting. I couldn't find the mistake either. When I made a mistake I was able to applique the correct piece and then quilted over it and it worked as a great cover-up.

I can't find this pattern on the internet. Can you tell me what book it might be in, or who sells it. I love your quilt. If that mistake somewhere in this beauty is just too much for you, I'll be happy to show case it on my bed!!!

I think you've just inspired my next quilt if I can get the pattern. Maybe you could come to Washington and teach!!!

The pattern is by Fig Tree Patterns called Vanilla Blooms. Thanks for all kind comments. The camera person was very tricky on how she took pick. I would like to put this on bed and can put pillows on mistake but I need to buy fabric to make cases and need to buy something to put underneath the quilt because it isn't queen size.
