Default Vertigo

This is "Vertigo" by "Mountainpeek Creations", I spotted a version of it on Pinterest. It called for two extra borders quite different from mine, but I used what I could to complete it. "Fresh as a Daisy" by Maywood Studio make up the florals and "White Swiss Dot" by Riley Blake makes up the white portion. Yellow was a prepackaged 3 yd piece from Wilmington . Once I started using it I found out it had little black marks through it and was really disappointed as I had to cut around those. I'll scrap out the balance into a potato chip scrappy quilt. Of course this is a Project Linus for a toddler girl.

Cute quilt! It reminds me of that spinning top toy from my childhood.

Another cute Linus quilt that will be appreciated. I like the use of strips for this quilt which would be great for a jelly roll.
Nice work Linda.

A potato chip is individual blocks 2" wide x 3.5" long. There is a video that tells you how to make this scrappy block. Google "potato chip quilt pattern" ...it's a fun block to make from all your scraps.

I love your version of this! Much prettier than the cover of the pattern, IMHO.

One of the guilds I am in makes quilts that are donated to local hospitals and pregnancy care centers locally. This would be an ideal pattern. Thanks for sharing!
