I did SID on the main joining seams that actually formed a diamond pattern on backing. I used invisible thread on top and pink bobbin thread to match backing. I did the SID quilting to hold backing to top so it would not seperate in use or washing. No where near as much quilting as regular quilt with batting.

Actually walls and spread are not white but ivory. I chose this color so I could change quilts often without having to change wall or bedspread color. I usually make twin size quilts and lay them sidways across our king size bed. Quilt only covers top of bed almost like a coverlette so the ivory bedspread hangs down on the sides instead of quilt. This size is easier, quicker and cheaper to make. I can make more and uses them oftener since I do not have to change basic color of the room. Quilt can be left on bed while sleeping of taken off and folded.

Cute quilt! I'm not much of a pink person but I keep seeing lime and pink together and I really am starting to think I need to make something in those colors....
