So sorry to hear the news about your dear niece! The quilt is beautiful and she'll definitely need it and enjoy it at the same time! She'll be in my thoughts and prayers!

Your niece will love it. I too am a survivor since 2000. I am planning on doing a quilt with my Relay for Life T-shirts.

Thank you for your prayers. My hope is that she will bring it with her to chemo therapy (which she has already started). My husband prayed Acts: 19:11-12 - that it would be like the cloths of Paul. I had forgotten all about those verses and thought they fit so well. They also fit the Downey quilts!

The pictures really don't do it justice. It is so much prettier live. It's already in the mail tonight to get to her this week.
I looked up the Acts passage and oh, so perfect. I am going to post those verses above my sewing machine and pray them into each quilt. I don't think I ever "really" read them before. Thank you.
