What a beautiful old quilt, and I love what you did with it. Your pictures turned out great. I think the old fabrics are so great. I have an overall Sam quilt one of my husband's grandmothers made for him, but it is falling apart. It started fall apart about 20 years ago, so I had to take it off of the bed, and put it up. I was picking pieces of it off of the floor every morning. My husband didn't want me to take it off the bed, but I told him if I didn't put it up it would only get worse. It was only one fabric that fell apart, but it was the sashing, and border fabric, and of course some of the batting came out too. I would love to fix it, but I don't know where to start.
