Default Vintage/Antique quilt purchased at auction for $15.

My DH and I were at an old country auction where the vehicles pull through a large barn type building and then display their items to be auctioned. These items are usually from storage units, old homes that are being cleaned out after the person passes and items from barns and attics. You can find some neat items. This quilt is a size between a twin and a full size. It is pictured on a full size bed. It is hand embroidered pictures of automobiles about 100 years old but I do not know how old the quilt is. I just fell in love with it and pictured some older woman sitting there doing all this hand work. The backing material feels like it is a feed sack weave. It has two small stains (about a quarter in size) on it and a very small freyed spot on the backing. I paid $15 for it and think I made a great buy. What do you think?

Difficult to get the colors right but the sashing is a forest green with a tiny flower print in it. The background on each square is a very light grey.
I just love it.
