    Your quilt is very pretty. Are the squares done like raw edge applique? Or something like that. You don't encase the colored squares in the white do you? A close up of the quilt would be nice to see the detail.

    It is pretty. It reminds me of a quilt I made called, Ticker Tape.

    I just drew my lines 3" apart than placed my sq's 1/2' apart
    lots of drawing. as I said you will have to wash the quilt when completed , so just use whatever marker you normaly use one that is washable.

    not aplique just raw edge. I can't give you a close up but someone posted a copy of this same pattern maybe you can check it out
