Awesome quilt, and great quilting. You did a beautiful job. After reading posts and seeing the work of some of the members, my fingers are itching to drag my hand quilting out and give it another try. I would also like to learn to hand piece!!

I think the quilt top dates to the 1950's. Colors are all from that time period. If the fabric has some polyester in it, it is most probably the 1950's. You did a great job.
I love to make up unfinished quilt tops and hand quilt them.

I only wish I could hand quilt them. Since I can't, I use a Tin Lizzie. We do what we can. I love old quilt tops to finish, it's always nice to find one at a good price. Thanks to all for the nice comments.

What a great quilt. I love it when someone gets and old quilt that would be mistreated and makes it into an even bigger treasure.
