I have a 1928 99 with that same handle on the case, so I am guessing around then...so, 1928.

Well, before I collected it I thought I was probably going to get a 28k circa 1910 with Victorian decals.

However, tonight's winner has to be Dreamboat Dorothy McNutt of Dallas, who limited herself to saying Singer 99K, and was spot on! So an invisible box of chocolates to her, and a bar of invisible chocolate to Anna Quilts for saying filigree, and another to NauDeeGal for being only one digit out on the year, which was 1916.

I hope you've had fun. The photos are going up on the Vintage Machine Photos thread in a few minutes.

Thank you to NauDeeGal and Vintagemotif for the birthday greetings - I'm amazed you noticed!

Oh there you go! How fun. The 99 is a hand crank? Awesome!
