For whatever crazy reason someone got rid of it....I am glad that you found it and will give it the proper love and attention it deserves. Thanks for sharing this beautiful quilt.

That is a very pretty quilt and someone put a lot of work into it. Glad you found it and have given it a place of honor.

What an absolutely wonderful treasure. I keep the faith as I read so many posts where such treasures are found. I haven't been lucky yet, but I just know my "rescue" is out there waiting for me. This is gorgeous and I just know it has found a wonderful home. Enjoy!

It has found a good home- and you did beautiful with getting it snowy white - such a beautiful quilt - and probably given away by children of a deceased not knowing the value of it - not caring! We need to hold classes to the communities in "Quilting 101 - saving vintage quilts from before your time". Most young don't know the value of them, nor the amount of time put into them, much less teh cost of doing them!

How lucky you are to have found this, and give a new home.

OH MY!!! I was shocked when I saw what you were so very lucky to find! It is BEAUTIFUL!!! You have a treasure there and so what if it is a full size, it looks very nice on your bed. Thank you for the Oxy Clean tip, I use it all the time in my Laundry and certainly will remember that wonderful tip.
