Lucky you! It certainly is a beautiful find. Treasure it as the maker obviously did.

Talk about a diamond in the rough! Stained or not, the workmanship is unbelieveable. So glad that you got your hands on it!

I have an identical quilt that my Mom started and I finished (probably 30 years later). It was a kit from a "Lee Ward" catalog. It was my first attempt at hand quilting and there are places that I need to repair, but I love it. Glad you have saved the twin to my quilt.

What a absolutely beautiful quilt. It breaks my heart thinking of someone doing all that beautiful work and it ending up in a thrift store.

For goodness sakes who in their right mind would pass that over. It's a very pretty quilt. Lucky you.

What a great find. Why in the world would anyone throw this away?

One woman's trash is another woman's treasure! And I know you already treasure it.

Lovely quilt. I can only imagine the amount of time and effort that went into making it. Bless you for saving it.
