Actually, until I read your post, I thought the corners were supposed to be that way and that it was quite clever. Still do, as it makes the quilt different. Restoration looks excellent and the label tells the story. Just perfect!

Amazing ! Not sure if this will help, but the red, white and blue plaid is very familiar! My Mother made a dress for me with this same material when I was five years old; remember it clearly and have a photo of it; I am now 72 years old. I remember so many of the things my Mother made for me!

Some thought the fabrics were 30's or 50's. Your info puts some of the fabrics clearly in the 50's range. Thanks for the help. I suspect that it was made from clothing remnants.
