There are times when we come up with a keeper, memory, and an unusual, profound thing. And you and your Mother have done it. It probably won't be copied, but she and you have made this.

Have you thought about getting your mom a magnifying lamp? When I started having trouble seeing my work on cross stitch, I bought a stand alone magnifying lamp, and that was about 20 years ago. Now, all my work on quilting, or anything else, is done under that lamp.
