What a great quilt you have made! You have given me inspiration for some star blocks I started! I have been making those scrappy stars but have been using solids for the backgrounds of the stars. It was looking pretty but boring! After seeing your blocks with the striped and printed backgrounds mixed in, I see that would be the perfect remedy for my blocks. Thanks so much for posting this inspirational quilt. You've turned one woman's trash into a true treasure. Great save!

You took something no one else wanted, and made it into something beautiful. Great job.
