I wanted to give this to my husband (who is from Philadelphia) on Friday for the Phillies first game but between high school soccer playoff games; my garage sale and Saturday a.m. soccer - I just got it finished and of course he is asleep!!

For some reason the FMQ'ing I did isn't showing up well - but I used clear thread on the front and back. The front has smaller stippling than the back.

    Hope he likes it!

I am a Reds fan! Will you make a similar one for me? (Just kidding.)

Looks great, he will love it! Those Phillies fans are fans for life, in my experience.

yes they are and for the first 8 innings of every game all they ever say is "the Philly's suck this year" and then when they lose they say "see - I told you!" and when they win they say "I was just kidding". I get to spend the next 9 months hearing that!

I'm working on an Eagles quilt next - well not next next but next for him!

Dang and I only have a little bit if the philly's material left over or I'd send it to you - have a ton of eagles material though!

He did love it and took it to work to put on his chair - he said he doesn't want the cat stealing it and leaving her hair all over it!!!

Pam, that’s so sweet of you. Maybe you could make a little mug rug with the left over fabric for your DH? I knew he'd love it and bet you he showed it off at work too, that may have more to do with it than cat hair

He has a rocking chair in his office so he put it over the rocking chair with all his other Phillies stuff. I made him a covered bullitin board today!
