Its called Somewhere. A lady interpreted what she wanted, its her somewhere, asked a painter to paint it for her but he went back to the UK and she never got it. so I did this for her.

Thanks, she hasnīt seen it yet. Hope to put it in our Exhibition here in Spain before she goes back to the UK.

I would like to be in that "somewhere" too.

What applique technique did you use?

Awesome quilting on the quilt under the wall hanging, too.

Thanks so much for your wonderful comments everyone, made me feel that she might just like it too.

It started of as a watercolour kit from Whims and I added to it and took a bit away as well, to get exactly what she wanted.

I just used steam a seam and machine applique where it needed it, stuffed the little cushions on the chairs and the back of the chairs and added the seams to make it look lifelike. The butterflies are fussy cut from material and stand proud as if they are flying.

The quilt underneath is one I actually bought in Dallas when I was there a number of years ago and I loved it, not as clever as to be able to do that, wish I was though

That is very nice. I like the 3-D elements and the way the design spills over the border, they all add alot of interest.

Gorgeous, what a work of art. Can you post a closeup picture so we can see the 3-D detail?

My camera is not good at close ups or should I say I am not good at taking them they usually turn out blurry, but I will have a go tomorrow for you okay
