WALL HANGING AND TABLE RUNNER
#21
Thanks everyone for your compliments on my table runner and wall hanging, they were lots of fun making.
The ladies on this forum helped me with the white thread seams showing on the wall hanging, so I have to really give everyone a big ...Thank you for your help. Everyone here is so helpful, it's really nice to have a place that you can go & ask questions on how to fix a booboo on your quilt
Next I think I'll try a Bargello king size quilt.. hope it comes out.. LOL

They are both beautiful, but I love the table runner best, do you suppose because purple is my favorite color or what lol. What pattern did you use for the table runner? I would love to make one. I have such a collection of purple fabric, and I plan to make a quilt when I finally decide on what pattern I want to use. You did a beautiful job on both projects. pat your self on the back a few times. Gerbie

Hi Gerbie,
The pattern was in the book Twist & Turn Bargello by Eileen Wright it's the only table runner in the book. It was pertty easy to make, at first I couldn't figure out why you sewed the strips and then riped them out at different colors, but it all can together at the end. Hope this helps have fun sewing, Carol

Thanks Carol, I just ordered the book from Amazon. I love the wall hanging. I don't know when I will get to it, but I love the pattern. I have never made a Bargello pattern before, but I have seen several that I like. Who knows this might just be my thing. lol. Thanks again for the info. Gerbie
