I absolutely love your quilt! At first I thought the shading was done with fabric. That and the "rope" makes this quilt fabulous .... not to mention the other great details you included like the beadboard look and the blueberry border! Your brother should be very pleased. PS: I love blueberries also and the ones up north from Jersey and on up (Maine especially) are so good!

What a fabulous piece...I was stunned at all of the details. He should fall in love immediately! I think I see a free lobster dinner in your future - lol.

Well, I don't care for lobster, but I'm looking forward to his taking me out to do some clamming, and enjoying dining on the results!
