    Default Seasonal Spring Basket - 17" x 11" - Wool Applique

    Hi,
I've been working on this project for a couple of days. Just finished it. Still have to add a button for the eye. It is the first time I have used wool. This was a kit that I bought at the Paducah Quilt Show this year. Found out though that the fusible backing that I normally use, doesn't work the greatest..but managed to work it out. The design is from the Buttermilk Basin. The url address is www.buttermilkbasin.com I plan on buying a frame for this and framing it. Hope you like it.

Very nice! My first wool applique was a wee kit I bought as well. I'm telling you though, I'm hooked! I've always loved applique but I'm greatly loving the wool!
