I'm glad you had the courage to try it. Peggy
In your search bar type in free motion machine embroidery....lots of links are listed. I really enjoyed and learned a lot from watching the videos on You Tube. Patsy Thompson (I hope I spelled that right) has some wonderful tutorial videos, another person who does some fantastic projects is Terry White. Recently I discovered on The Quilt Show site a woman, Nancy Prince...she also shares some great videos and tutorials. Plus, I just randomly selected various sites that contained the phrase and learned some interesting helpful tips. I hope that this helps.

Free Motion Machine Embroidery is also referred to as Thread Painting. You drop your feed dogs, put your stitch length to Zero and you begin coloring/painting/stitching a picture. You can also use the zig zag stitch. It is similiar to free motion quilting.

Nice job. Just shows where there is a will, there's a way. Glad you enjoyed the process.
