These are really nice. I'd like the mystery quilt pattern, if you ever find it. (Ask me how I know what it's like to search the sewing room.... LOL! )

It's not the pattern that was the problem. Machine jammed a cabillion times. Ran out of bobbin thread. Did not catch all of the material when I turned over the ?binding? and noticed after two more rows were done. So then I had to rip and it was one thing after the other. This is the second one I have made and the first one went so smoothly. I like the idea that it is totally done when you are through piecing.

This is in the Country Register of Illinois. September/October 2007 issue, November/December 2007 and I assume the January/February 2008 issue. There is an Editors note: If you missed Part 1 in the last issue, you can find it at www.countryregister.com click on Illinois, then click on the Sep/Oct issue. These are neat little newspapers. There are stories, food recipes and such.

I just tried to pull up the address and it won't let me. But then again the way my day has been going I'm not surprised! If you would like I could scan and email the pattern to you. Let me know.

Purplemem, I googled-Miss Millies's Mystery Quilt and found the patterns that way also. It comes in pdf which makes it nice to download and print.
