    I use minkee with no batting, it will be warm enough.

    I LOVE MINKEE !!! It sews easiest with a walking foot. It is great for warm cuddly backings on cotton quilts. AND if you are really brave Minkee top and backing makes a wonderful quilt (no batting).

    When I use Minkee for backing on cotton quilts, I still use a thin light-wtg batting ... it just gives the quilt more form and body. But with or without is fine. ENJOY !!!

    This is darling! Love the fabrics and the designs. Not at all too bright! Babies need interesting designs to spark their interest.
