Great ideas for this first block. Please continue to show us your progression and the additional memory chapters that go along with each new block. Thanks for sharing your creativity, personal history and inspiration.

Todays exercise in the class I am taking with Marilu Henner asked me to write 4 columns Hot Weather, Cold Weather, Rain Storms and Snowstorms. I was to write down as many key words that ignited memories in each column with a limit of 10 min. Man the memories cam flooding in from all over the place! Childhood, Adulthood, Teenager hood! I could see, smell, taste and feel so many things! I now have so much to journal down so I can start designing my other blocks for my memory quilt. Wish I could work on this all day every day. But alas one does need to work! I will keep you all posted on new designs.

What an adorable block, and a very neat idea to document one's life.

I second those emotions! This quilt is going to be ADORABLE! And memorable!

The "syndrome" Marilu Henner has? A radio DJ in my town has it, too, & has been in the same studies Marilu has been in. As a trained psychologist, I just find it fascinating, don't you? Tho I'm not sure I would want to remember EVERYTHING, y'know?

Ambitious is correct! But nice!
The block has me smiling.
